The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant supports companies in setting up and optimizing their sales cycle, from sales offer configuration to invoicing.

He acts as a business and technical-functional expert to improve sales performance and offer monetization.

Revenue Cloud consultant responsibilities

The Salesforce CPQ consultant specializes in implementing and optimizing Salesforce CPQ functionalities, used to automate configuration, pricing and quote generation.

Main tasks:

  • Analyze the business needs of sales, finance and operations teams to adapt Salesforce to their processes
  • Design functional and technical solutions based on Salesforce CPQ, Billing, RCA and other Revenue Cloud modules
  • Set up and deploy the Salesforce Revenue Cloud solution (products, pricing rules, workflows, billing)
  • Train end-users in the use of CPQ, Billing, RCA.
  • Ensure functional acceptance and support the testing phases
  • Provide post-deployment problem-solving assistance and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes using CPQ functionalities.

  • In-depth knowledge of B2B / B2C sales processes, pricing policies, and recurring invoicing

It’s quite possible to become a Revenue Cloud Consultant by making a career change to Salesforce Consultant. With a background in billing and an awareness of product/pricing logic, you’ll find it easier to upgrade your skills.
